I’ve interviewed hundreds of scientists and experts. But I’d never spoken with a clone, until now. This is the real me speaking with a clone of Dara Ladjevardian, co-founder of the company Delphi, which helps people create their own AI doubles. This is the end of our interview. Early on, the clone told me: “Digital clones can be incredibly useful in society … by ensuring that real voices aren’t lost in the sea of artificial content.” Do you think AI-generated clones should count as “real voices”?
